Meetup Notifications

We run almost all our activities from Meetup.com. We occasionally have to change, or even cancel, an activity. You really want to know when something changes - you don’t want to arrive to a canceled activity. You can always check Meetup for the activity you’re planning to attend.

It’s a bit more convenient if you get all the notifications about activities you are interested in, and you may need to change your notifications settings to assure this happens.

Go to https://www.meetup.com/account/comm/

That takes you to your own notification settings. You probably want to check the setting to “Send both email and push”.

Also, turn on anything else you want to get, if it’s not already turned on.

Now, scroll on down to “Updates about your groups”. Click the “Edit” button by “Rowlett, Texas Photography Club Meetup”.

And, again, turn on everything you want to get.

We think we’ve seen where Meetup will occasionally fail to send notifications, and should that happen, we apologize in advance.
